Gen5 My Gen 5 SE w/ Gen 6 SE Wheels

After waiting almost 3 months on Toyota's Dealer Tire, I finally got my Gen 6 SE takeoffs. Also picked up the Michelin MXV4 S8 takeoffs to go with them. Huge improvement over my steelies and caps, will use those for the snows. I know it needs to be dropped for a better look, but I live on a dirt road and need a little more clearence than most. Wheels are 17x7 with 45 offset and fit well with no clearence issues.

Looks good, how much did you pick the wheels up for? Did you just tell the parts guys to give you a call if they got some in as take offs?

looks good

for some reason, maybe because of the shape of the rim, it looks larger than 17, but great nonetheless!

First of all, I AM the parts guy. The wheels come from the Toyota dealer tire source who get them from the port. The port is where the accessories are installed that aren't factory installed. Some 07 SE's are getting the 18" TRD wheel and tire package and that is where these takeoffs are coming from. They are in a very limited supply and only reason I got a set is because my tire rep tipped me off in March and I ordered a set back then. Yes, some dealers will be doing the swap themselves and are a potential source. I've also seen a few sets on Ebay lately for big bucks! I can't say what I paid for them at dealers cost, lets just say I got a good deal.
