Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Ok. So many of you love these things and so many of you hate them. I was on the hate side and still pretty much am, but I was swayed a little bit today towards liking them.
I was at my dealership today getting a (useless) oil change and while they were servicing my car I decided to take a tour of the new car lot. I walked up to this beautiful white 07 Camry SE and immediately noticed that the price of the car was higher than most of the other SE's. I was wondering why until I read on the sticker "Body Side Moldings -- $199"...thats when I backed up and low and behold, there they were. I must admit that on the WHITE Camry SE those BSM looked VERY VERY nice. They looked very professionally done. I know another member on here "Evan215" has just got his BSM but for some reason I really dont like his but on the White SE I saw, they look like a must have.
Here are some pics that I took with my camera phone. Sorry its not the best quality but again, its a camera phone.
To each their own... if I decided to take them off at a later time I'll do so. At first was going to buy a white SE but then opted for a silver one because it would be easier to keep clean, etc.
That white one does look really good with the BSM by the way...

Your car is still beautiful. I was going to get my SE in Silver until I saw the Blue Ribbon one. BTW, the lighter the car, the easier to maintain. The White SE is easier to keep clean then the one you have.

Thanks! I love the blue ribbon one, but I'd never keep it clean enough (time constraints... ugh), my last car was emerald pearl green and it was ALWAYS dirty. The silver will hide small scratches better than the white, but the white will look cleaner... I guess you could say it's a trade off. You have a very nice SE as well!
OH thank GOD... after I read the title, I thought you got it... good thing you didn't... hahaha
By the way... did you drive by Riggs Rd during the day last week? I saw a Blue SE pass by... just wondering if it was you
LOL yea I did. What time was it or what day. I was around Riggs a lot on Saturday and I think a time or two during the weekday. But I saw a few silver SE's. Were u at a light???
