No they were in regular halogen headlamps on a 1989 cadillac. IMO the pure blues would be even worse in projector headlamps. Trust me don't waste your money on these unless your getting them for show. If you want a bright light bulb get the luminics hyper whites.

Well, I think that the Hyper Whites have been replaced by either the Titanium or Ultra White series.
If you google Luminics and then click on most online retailers, they don't even list Hyper Whites.
Try this Luminics site for example:::

I am in agreement now......just 60 dollars too late. I installed the pure blues this afternoon and just took my first test drive with them in.

They don't light up SHIT!!!!! They are so darrk and dim that I nearly hit a night jogger. Had he not have had a reflective hoody on I dont know what would have happened!!

They will be replaced with something else very soon. What is the general consencus?

Hyper whites?

Lol! Told you so. Glad to hear nothing happened to you or that jogger. But yeah get the hyper whites or ultra whites or whatever their called now. Titanium whites are kind of ugly IMO. But i think you will be happy with the hyper/ultra whites.

Are those made by Nokya or by Luminics? What is your opinion of Nokya?

2007 CAMRY OWNERS - BEWARE OF LUMINICS BULBS!

I installed my Titanium White bulbs tonight.
Luminics calls them their BRIGHTEST bulbs.
I loved the white color that they produced but it doesn't matter because they are NOT bright at all in the Camry.
I was scared to drive with them down a dark street - seriously.
They are terrible!!!!!
Now, this probably has something to do with our projector setups and may work fine with regular headlights. The Scion forum owners seem to like them.
But anyway, I am going to go back to old faithful - SYLVANIA SILVERSTARS.
I will let you know how those turn out in the projector casing.

I've used these bulbs and I must say they are quite good. I had them installed Aug 05 and they are still working. So far they seem to last the longest compared to some of the other bulbs I've used.

I have a set of Luminics2500K JDM Yellow in my fogs and they are amazing. There is a big difference between my 6000K HIDs and in the fog they work very well.
