Is anyone using Lumincs Pure Blue headlights in their Camry. I ordered them a few days ago but have not installed them yet. Anyone used them before. How long will they last? How bright are they. Again I ordered the pure blue models. Let me know what you guys think of them.....good or bad!!!
I have used luminics bulbs in many of my vehicles and pretty much bought and tried every color that they have. When i had my cadillac and i tried the pure blue and personally think they were complete crap! But the lenses on the cadillac weren't diamond cut like those on the camry but im not sure if that really makes a difference. The pure blue didn't have enough light output, they just looked really cool. In the rain...forget about it, you couldn't even tell they were on. I am currently running the JDM yellows in my fogs and they are real nice. I switched my headlights though from luminics to nokyas becuase my luminics died after a while. I tried the titanium whites and ultra violets too and they weren't much to brag about. But my favorites are the JDM yellow and the Hyper whites which i ran in my camry and had no complaints. I only switched to nokya becuase i didn't feel like ordering a new pair and waiting for them and i had the nokyas sitting around.

Thanks for the input. I wanted to go Nokya arctic purple but they are not made in H11 bulbs. I was told that the arctic white light draw to much power for my harness to handle and this i went with the luminics. Did they last you a while though? the luminics that is.
WOW!
I was just about to start a thread on this exact subject.
If you do a google search, you can read other forums with users who have used the Luminics bulbs. The general consensus is that they are excellent bulbs.
A heckova lot cheaper than the PIAAs also.
BTW: I am leaning towards buying the 'Ultra White' series.
The 'Pure Blues' are just that - Very blue with low light output.
I don't recommend them. They are more of a novelty.
Not sure about the 'Titanium White' bulbs though.

I think the luminics would last longer but i switiched them out so much from one car to another that i bet somewhere i touched the bulb and caused them to blow faster. Mine lasted about 6 months before one blew. The nokyas are fine on my stock harness though. The luminics actually fried my harness on my fogs so i changed them to a high wattage harness and its still a little burned on the connector.
i had luminics i dont reccomend them,,i got NOKYA level 2 pure blue 7000K lights after for a bit more,,and im telling u,,nothing can compare to these,,its almost like pure HID,,soo freaken bright,,NOKYA all the way
i had the pure blues and the color was pretty decent but the light output was horrible. the only time i was able to see the blue light up on the ground was when it was really dark.

Were you using pure blues with projection headlamps? Would it make a difference in your opinion?
