For $250 w/professional installation, I'm sure it came with some kind of warranty and quality brand tint film. On the other hand, $25 for a DIY job with no clue of the tint film quality, and a possible chance of removing that tint and retinting due to fading, coloring, peeling, etc. down the road. In my opinion, tint is one of those things you shouldn't be cheap about. If you pay that one time price to get it done right, at least you know you're paying for a quality job, brand name tint, and the fact that the tinting is getting done right the first, and possibly the only time.
