Determining Offer Price for 2007 Camry 4-Cyl LE, Southern California

Hey for those of you who bought a 07 LE 4-cyl Camry in southern california, do you have the info regarding the actual price that dealers paid the factory for the car? Or even better, anybody have pricing info from the piece of paper stuck to the new car i.e. delivery fees, etc.?

I just started the process of online quotes, and I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me determine the best offer price. I'm following the guidelines from http://www.carbuyingtips.com/buyingnewcar.htm and I'm using the "offer spreadsheet"

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

You can get comprehensive pricing info with review from consumerguide.com. I don't like the approach used by carbuyingtips. I like to do my shopping over the internet.

Shoot for as close to the invoice price as possible... what options are you looking for?

Here's some info for an I4 LE:

Auto Trans:
$20,500 (MSRP) $18,348 (Invoice)

Manual Trans:
$19,450 (MSRP) $17,407 (Invoice)

Destination Fee: $580

Sunroof will cost you $940 (MSRP) or $752 (Invoice)
6 Disc CD will cost $1000 (MSRP) or $750 (Invoice)
Satellite Radio costs $449 (MSRP) or $359 (Invoice)
Rear View Mirror Dimmer & Compass costs $150 (MSRP) or $120 (Invoice)
Alloy Wheels $410 (MSRP) or $328 (Invoice)
Convience Packg (Floor mats, cargo netting, and trunk mats) is $220 (MSRP) and $181 (Invoice)

I helped negotiate a price for my friends I4 LE auto and all he wanted was the Convience Packg... ended up paying $19,400 plus tax and tags. This is in Gaithersburg, MD area.

But invoice is invoice... it doesn't matter where you buy it in terms of invoice pricing. I got my V6 SE for $419 over invoice. Shoot for that. Never buy during the first two weeks you go into the dealer. Be patient. find more than one Toyota dealer to compete with one another. That's how I got mine... they get going lower and lower and lower... finally they couldn't go any lower so they gave me lifetime free oil change!!!

Was quoted $24,000 even out the door for a fully loaded, 2007 Camry, 4cylinder XLE, from Tustin and Puente Hills Toyota back in April 2006. Ended up purchasing a base V6 LE for under $24,000 out the door.
