Gen6 Well...thew side moulding are installed and...

...I'm not crazy about how they look.
Seems to make the car look smaller.
I guess dings would look a lot worse and the mouldings will help somewhat.

Joe, I ordered mine as soon as I got the car, 4 days later, I removed them, for me and now my wife, it definitely looks better without them.

So, now I have the Body Side Mouldings and the OEM XLE Grill for sale...

I think I'll leave them on for now.
Deathly afraid of dings.
The mouldings won't stop 'em but will help.

I'd like to sell my XLE grille too.

I agree they make the car look stubby. I was thinking about getting them till I saw a Camry with them.

Smile Side Moldings

Usually I do not like side moldings, however, with the 07 Camry's high beltline I think they actually improve the looks by breaking up the large side slab. You won't see many ES350s w/o them either.

We had them installed after we purchased the car/ Incidentally, we did get two small dings on them already! (better than the steel door).

To each his own.

You're right about that slab side. You could put a mural there!

if you just got that moulding put on, don't take your car to high pressure car wash for awhile. I took mine to carwash 3 days after I put the moulding and it came off. I put new tapeon that and waited 1 week before I took it for carwash and so far no problem.

In my opinion the bold side moulding ruins the flow and natural lines of the car.

Exactly...

The moldings actualy protect US from dinging our own doors when we open them. Mine have already "saved" me when I opened my door too near a wall at work.

I noticed that on the driver side the moulding is coming offf a little bit. I tried to press it back on but it wont stick for long. Is there a special glue or something I can use to slip in the groove and push it back in?
