Well I took the time this week to install my footwell lights. I wired them up to the dome light so that it can turn on whenever any of the doors are open and off when the doors are closed. The footwell lights also follow the cool dimming feature that the dome light does. Also, I wired the lights to a 3-way switch so that I can continuously have it on when I'm driving or completely disable the lights, even when the dome light is on.
Awesome job once again. I was debating whether or not to use CCFL cathodes or LEDs. I was afraid that I might be unable to see the things outside the window due to the glare caused by the brightness of the CCFL cathodes. So, is this the case?
Thanks for the info WhiteRabbit. I guess I'll go with the cathodes since they are cheaper than using LEDs. Hey Netforecer, can you please post pics of your footwells with the gauge/dash on?

Don't really want to cuz i think it doesn't really go the the dash lights but i'll post more pics tonight. I'll also see if they're a distraction against the windows at night.
It's not installed yet, but its on the driver's side, i'm probably going to hide it under the dash trim next to the trunk release. I need to go get some zip ties to hide the rest of the wires.
