Tire pressure light ?

My check tire pressure light is on and I dont know why ? My back tires reads at 25psi and the door panel says it should be 30psi could this be the reason. Should I inflate or take to the dealer. I have an 07 Camry with 4500 miles.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm car dumb.

ummm.. yes... it would. But then again... I don't know why it would go so low so fast... unless it's the temp where you are... Just bring it back to Toyota and have them inflate it and check the tire... make sure you didn't run over a nail or something.

Definately get it checked out by Toyota. In the meantime, don't travel long distances.

no need to even bring it to the dealer... just go to the closest gas station and pump it back up

i would still get it checked out because it might be a defect. The pressure shouldn't go low that fast.

HOLD IT, DON'T GO ANYWHERE......YET!!!

did you try the spare? I had the same issue with my Tundra in the spring. The dealer told me to check it, I was 5# low, I filled it and it worked.

(tryin' to save you a trip and money)

Hope it works!!!!!

spare doesn't have a monitor unless it's full size.

Put air in it and just watch it. I didn't think it'd go off for that little of a difference but you never know.

After you fill the tires to the correct pressure don't forget to reset the monitoring system. There is a small button on the left side of the glove box. Follow the procedure in the owners manual.

My sensor went off yesterday. It turned out that I had a screw in my right rear. Took it to Les Schwab and they repaired it (FOR FREE!). Before going there, I put air in tire and the sensor went out. According to Owner's manual, the only time you need to reset is when you put different size tires on or if it is malfuntioning.
