Afternoon everyone! I just got done talking to Bryan with Inegration Solutions. He is one of the only EBay dealers carrying the new Dash Kits (from METRA) for replacing the stock stereo with an aftermarket unit. He also has the wiring harness for people with the JBL sound system installed, so you can replace the head unit and still use the same speakers and factory amps. (The wiring harness is a seperate item. If you don't have the JBL system, or you don't plan on reusing the factory JBL system, you don't need it... everything you need for the basic install of a new unit comes with the dash kit.)

Keep in mind, this is a very hard-to-find kit right now. Bryan said Metra has like 800 on back

I have been reading this forum for a while now, Thanks for all of the great info. Just a bit of info. I have a 07 Camry. I have installed a Scosche TA2058 Dash kit. It is the same as the Metra. The color is silver. Anyway I got the dash kit for $11, that’s all they cost. I am sure the Metra is in the same price range. And they are not hard to get. Seems like a lot of markup to me. Sorry if I am stepping on your toes.

Honestly in all the years I have been doing car stereo work I've never paid more than about $15 for a dashkit... even at this moment only 1 supplier makes the new dash kit for the 2006 RAV4... and it's $11 directly from the manufacturer.

I dont want to step on any toes either, but the pricing here seems off quite a bit to me...

I have the Scosche Dask Kit installed with a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Nav. The color and fit are perfect. I will try to take some pics.

Where did you find the sosche? I couldn't find it at crutchfield or sounddomain. I agree that nearly 60 dollars just doesn't sound right. I have been into stereos for many years and seldomly paid 20 for a decent kit.

This question is for a person who got the Scosche kit
I would like to know the opening dimentions, because the opening in the front i looks that is for a double din, I mean, that you can fit 2 (two) stereos one on top of each other, If that's the case, did they send you 2 (two) boxes to insert 2(stereos)???? if not, how do you cover the remaining opening??
I called the eseller and he couldn't help me since they don't have the actual item right there and they don't open the package.
I'll try to call Scosche direct and see what kind of info I can get.

OK I call scosche 1-800-363-4490 and they told me that the kit is for a doble din.
