Gen5 Hand Buffed Camry *Pix Inside*

Here are some pix if you guys wanted to see it. i returned a buffer and just hand waxed everything today
I was going to use that buffer but PB told me not to get it. I was sore today so I couldn't rub a lot of the stuff in. The pix i'm about to show you........looks good but you can see.......swirls?
I used Step 1 and 2 of the Meguiar's system and then used the #26 carnauba yellow wax from auto zone.

Looks nice from far away

Here is where you see the nice color but see swirls or whatever you call it.

And PB remember that thread I made about the stuff on my bumper? Well here it is after I did the wax and stuff.

Does your bumper have chips in the paint, or is that stuff on the bumper? The rest of the car looks good.

after i wax my black 05 Le it always has swirls. What u have to do is wet it and dry it with a shammy and u will get the best shine u have ever seen. After i waxed it last week someone with the 2006 and same color and with less miles than mine had actually asked me how i found a new leftover 2006 Camry. When i told him it was an 05 with 18,000 miles on it his mouth fell to the ground. lol

And u might want to try a good bug and tar remover to get rid of those things on the bumper.

If you want to learn about proper detailing technique check out www.autopia.org
swirls are mostly from improper washing technique

Thanx for that tip, i'll wet it in a few and see how it turns out. I just don't have a buffer or anything to work it in enough. So you can see the wax not blended in.

It was from bugs where the acid burned off the paint I didn't know how to properly wash it so I chipped it up. Also, the cement trucks threw a ton of rocks at it too .

I'm not sure if it's those kind of swirls. I only see it when i'm using a wax or something. It's when I can't work it in enough so that it disappears completely.

yeah i could have kept the Lexus symbol on it, but that would've been odd.
