5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I find it hard to believe someone took a losing deal on a 07 Camry. There is hardly 2K in mark-up. If you count holdback, you get about $2600 diff in MSRP and "tissue" on an SE, which seems to have the most mark up. Now I am at an SET dealership, so you none SET folks may have a different situation.
We definately arent discounting these things near that amount. And why is everyone talking about freight? That is included on the Monroney Sticker. Unless ya'll are talking about something we dont have here.
I agree.
Any dealer that goes into their holdback to make a deal will not be in business much longer.
SE V6 Mag Gry, moonroof, leather, mats, 6-disc, spoiler. MSRP $28,533 paid $26,000+ tax, title, license. Toyota of Bloomfield....made the deal, then ordered the car.
Camry LE I4 auto- Magnetic Grey Matallic/Bisque cloth (at that time in May, Magnetic Grey was hard to find in my area, I had to wait and get one fresh of the truck)
Options- Floor mats
Vehicle cost- $20,008, which was invoice at this dealer
New Hampshire doesn't have sales tax. But it cost me just under $500 to register it.
I got top dollar for my trade, '03 Tundra SR5 V6 4x4 with 55,000 miles. Which I also bought at the same dealer for $25,000 and MSRP was 27,800.
Not Bad.
Dealer Invoice at Fitzmall is $19,691, internet price is 20,091 (+$400).
I just want to make sure i understand...list price = msrp? if so, what was msrp for your vehicle and what options did you have in your camry? thanks in advance.
mark
If you go to the- what did you pay- post the end of July or check my post 7-30-06 you can get that information. I'm too lazy to type all that up again. Incidentally, are you buying a car or just playing head games with everyone?

Well, I'm telling you what I got. It's $3369 off the sticker. I don't know what to say, but I got it. you can either take my word on that or not... but i'm the one with a nice loaded 07 camry SE with some cash in his pocket!

LOL. No streaker, no head games here. I am REALLY lookin for a deal for this car.
So yeah, I found your post among other ones. I noticed 4cyl SE owners from outside NJ and it seems like they are paying less for it. For example, skippy126 from wisconsin paid a lil over 22k OTD for his SE 4 cyl with jbl, cd, bt, moon rf, etc. I felt that wasn't offered a good deal because I don't even have the options he has and toyota of hackensack wanted 24.2K OTD! I hope it's b'c out of state invoice are lower than jersey...i don't know. So anybody from New Jersey who got less than 24.2K OTD for se 4cyl w/ moon rooof pkg...pls PM me!
