Gen6 Question Regarding Shocks and Struts

Hi,

When TRD does decide to provide lowering springs for the gen 6 camry (SE MODEL), would the struts and shocks also need to be replaced with aftermarket products? I remember when TRD came out with lowering springs for the gen 5 (SE MODEL) but did not provide reinforced struts or shocks, and someone had mentioned that the SE shocks and struts could handle the drop from the TRD springs. Is this true and would it apply to the gen 6 as well??

Thanks in advance.

TRD springs are known to provide only a mild drop, usually around 1" all around. With such a mild drop, aftermarket shocks/struts are not needed right anyway, but you would prolly want to replace them later on.

FYI Eibach has those springs already for sale. (For what I know Eibach is the TRD provider)
Go to the Eibach site.

Just wondering, why are you only considering TRD springs?

Yes, eventually, but not anytime soon that you should worry about since the car is so new and all.
