Joe B, I'm surprised that IS250 doesn't come with rain-sensing wipers
yeuemhoai
It's in the a $2200 option package which she doesn't have.
Luxury Package
Includes outside electrochromatic mirrors with reverse tilt, power rear sunshade, power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, high intensity discharge (HID) auto-leveling headlamps and rain sensing wipers.
Most of the above features are for Lexus models. My 2001 RX300 has:
* Anti-rolling windows (like garage doors) if someone sticks hands or somethings while the windows roll up, they will roll back down. I think this feature should be filtered down to all Toyota models as safety standard.
Our XLE has this....

And... My Truck - 2004 F-150 SCab
My Japan-built TCH does not have a rain-detecting intermittent wiper sensor box similar to the one on the JC Whitney website. However, the area surrounding the mirror mount (basically at the top of the windshield, in the middle-third when looking left to right) is covered with black dots, very similar to what was on my 99 CaddySTS. I had honestly thought that this black dot pattern was the rain-sensing material in both cars. It hasn’t rained here in CA since I bought my Camry 6 weeks ago, so I can’t say whether my interval wiper setting is rain-sensing or not.
BTW, I absolutely HATED the rain-detecting intermittent wiper function in my 99STS, I prefer to control the interval myself So I am actually hoping that my TCH interval wipers are NOT rain-detecting!
I talked about anti-roll (or whatever it's called) not auto-roll like safety feature of garage doors to protect kids to get stuck
I am too... you stick your hand in and the window comes back down once it hits your hand!
The dealer showed us... on the rear window. I assume the fronts do too, but I know the rears do.

on the rear??? I thought It was the driver side only..I'm gonna try later with a towel or something.
AND FOR THOSE LIKE ME (IF THERE ARE OUT THERE) LIKE ALL MY OTHER CARS HERE IN THE STATES NEEDED TO GET THE KEY IN ACC TO ROLL UP OR DOWND THE WINDOWS, YESTARDAY I FOUND OUT THAT YOU CAN DO IT WITH OUT HAVING THE KEYS.... I didn't know.....
Do they have LExus down there? Im just thinking down there the Camry is a more luxury car than up here , like how overseas the Corolla has a navigation system.....different places different features nothing to get upset over.
......and I could have sworn the camry has retained power which would allow you to put the windows up after youve shut the car off.

Camry does have retained power. The New Camry is practically a Lexus with Toyota badging.
Yota4ever, they do have some Lexus, but they are used, the deal is every imported car is about 90% of the original price more expensive, they call it tax I call it bullshit...
There is a Toyota plant down there, and they make the Hilux and the corolla and inmpot the rest ( I believe) and this is the line of car that they sale:
Corolla (Gas and Diesel)
Corolla Fielder (Gas)
Camry (Gas)
Rav4 (Gas)
Land Cruiser 100
Hilux (Turbo Diesel)
Hilux pick up (Turbo Diesel)
and Hilux SW4 (Turbo Diesel)
Land Cruiser Prado(Gas)
Here are some pics Yota4ever clik on the picture to enlarge it.

Thanks, You must know how I love pictures, and correction I meant to say they don't have the Avalon down there. I'd expect those features on the Avalon here so down there since there's no Avalon they'd have more features on the Camry.
