Search.
And you will find a lot of stuff here, even fights among TN people, on this topic.

basically there are cvheap and good ones, freom 150 to 400 bucks.
They are ok on our projectors, some people prefer retrofit other projectors.
I got a kit ands will be on my SE tonight ot tomorrow.

You can see photos once you do the search and go thru about 50 posts.

If you must get an aftermarket HID, stick with Xenondepot. They use high quality parts, unlike other kits.

Unless XenonDepot decides not to use proper packaging and sends you broken bulbs from Canada, then you lose money on returning the broken bulbs to Canada and have to wait another month to get the replacements sent... Just my experience with the company.

Aside from that, installing HIDs is cake, just make sure you cover up the squirrel spotters on the halogen projectors that are in the camry, another easy fix.

hybridamp, can you clarify how to cover up the squirrel spotters? I understand they allow light to be directed upwards to illuminate road signs but can cause a lot of glare when using hid's. Is it a modification done to the shield?

If you click on his link he has quite a few pics of his lights.

By the way damn that seems like a lot of work just for LEDs. Is it not?

There is no need to do a diy writeup unless it is on how to cover the squirrel finders. You just need to know good places to mount the ballasts and have high quality equipment. It is pretty much plug and play.
