Here you go Webb26, the projector housing sticks about an inch and half behind the headlight and about the same in the front. Here are a couple of pics. Hope this helps...

Good work so far. Your beam looks about the same as mine. Believe me, the color looks great hitting cars and objects along the road.

I burned a headlight too. You should probably preheat the oven to 400F instead of 300F. That will stop you from having to put it in the oven more than one time.

Keep us posted.

Thanks taj786...did you decide to use the OEM grommet to cover that back end up...or will it even fit the way you mounted it? If not...how did you seal up the back end?

Yeah Webb26, i am planning to use the OEM grommet to cover the back. But i think i am still gonna have some space on the sides, since the top and bottom are gonna be stretched and tight. I am planning to use some electrical tape and put silicon over it make it air tight. I know its a ghetto approach but hey who'll be able to see the inside...lol. But i am still thinking about using some other methods.

I can't believe someone asked this..LOL

The cut off line for projectors should look like below

_ _ _ _ _ / - - - - -

thats the way oem projectors look like.

He said it himself, they are not even. And i dont know bout you, but my HIDs both look the same when you look from where he took the pic. How can one be brighter than the other. Have not seen a bmw like that. I know what you mean about the cutoff but that still needs fixin which hes workin on.

Had a question. How the cutoff should look like from a distance. Should it be (left)&(right) _____/------_____/------ or it should be just one _____/----- cutoff where the left and right is overlapping. The beam will look equally bright if they are overlapping one another going like this /\ and forming one cutoff____/-----. Any suggestions majorgercko1

The latter.

majorgercko1: I wasn't minimizing your efforts. I was just point out something people with OEM HID's know...the pattern is single _ _ _ _ / - - - - The right is elevated for LHD Cars; if you happen to drive in asia where its RHD, the pattern is - - - - \ _ _ _ _
I'd recommend you to check out some HID forums to learn on beam patterns on retro-fitted projectors.
