Gen5 Cutoff pics of my HID retrofit

I finally got time to aim these babes, but i am still having some trouble with em, will take care of them after i get through with work and skool. Its been almost 14 days i've been working on this mod off and on. The work is about 80% complete. Cant wait to see the end result. The cutoff is from about 10 feet away. Seems like i've got good color . Well enjoy the pics.

Thanks majorgecko1. Yeah the driverside light is aimed a little lower . I was still messing with the springs behind the projector. I am not done aiming yet. I've got a test to study for this weekend, so will work on the aiming after Monday. Honestly I am so tired of working on this mod.

Thanks Epsilon. These are the TSX color modded projector with 2 #8 washers on each nipple (4 #8 washers per projector) and the color is MIND BLOWING. The pics dont do any justice. WAY better in person.

Thanks Super Kaioken, i guess its time u roll up ur sleeves and get ur hands dirty...lol. Honestly this is first time ever i did something to my camry. I hadnt even put a decal or a sticker before i started this professional grade mod and truely this is sooo worth it. Just takes a hell lot of time and patience. Not to mention after screwing up a few headlights.

I am using Philips D2S 4300K bulbs with Denso ballasts, ones that are being used in Lexus.
Thanks Webb26 I am still working on the aiming process, Once i get them aimed, I'll def post pics from varing distances. But here are the pics of the assembly...

Here is one of the accidents when everything seemed to go perfect...

WAY more room in those Gen5 housings than the gen5.5. Color looks great. Now get some E46 shrouds and finish it up.

Yeah i was supposed to preheat the oven at 300 and then turn it off, i forgot to turn it off and let the headlight cook in it for 7 mins and this is what happened. You should preheat the oven at 300 and then TURN IT OFF and keep it in there for about 7-10 mins and them pry it with a butter knife and a flat head screw driver. I had to do it 3 times for the casing to open up. Make sure the tabs are not in lock position and PLZ: there are two screw u HAVE to remove before putting the headlight in the oven, or u'll screw up major.

Yeah Hawkeyes-SE the gen 5 housing has enough space for u to work with ease. The gen 5.5 is somewhat tight to work with. I had a friend who left his retro half way through and went with stock lights.
