floor mats and body side moldings

I'm about 6 hours from closing a deal on a new 2007 camry le. I'm wondering if it's worth getting the body side moldings and rubber floor matts. are there after market floor matts that are custom fit to the camry for less? how about those body side moldings. i think they're probably a good idea. but are they worth $195 dealer price (which probably does not include installation)?

I'm getting close to closing a deal as well. You can get both of these parts (official Toyota parts none the less) on ebay for quite a bit less. All weather Mats for 70 bucks and Molding for ~100 (plus shipping). I would definetly get the mats off ebay. Not sure how hard it is to install moldings, but I imagine not too difficult. Anyone done it before?

Some of the best mats I've found are made by Husky. You can spill 1/2 gallon of milk on them and it would still not get the floor wet.

If you haven't closed your deal yet ask for the BSM as an incentive to the deal (give them to you for free). I asked for the rear bumper applique and got it free with free installation. I didn't want the BSM so I didn't ask for them. If they won't give you the BSM ask for mats. My mats were already in the car so I had no need for them.

Yeah.... But they don't make the "liners" for the Camry... I've had them for every Toyota truck I've had and even have the set from the Sequoia about to go on e-bay... I'm with you bar-none, these are the best "liners" in the business.

BUT

Their "mats" SUCK! They don't make "liners" for the Cam.

I think I'm gonna have to go with the Weather Techs for the Cam.

Unfortunately....

"Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech® FloorLiner™ over the door sill...no muss-no fuss"

That is bullchit... cause you'd prolly need 15 gallons to overflow the doorsill in the Cam... I keep tripping over it myself.

how do you install the bsm and get a nice even straight install? i'd do it myself, i'm just a bit worried i'd stick them on crooked and then it would be a complete mess. is it easy to measure up properly?
