will these alloys fit my 07 le camry?

have a new 07 le with steel wheels (16 x 6.5 45 offset). local guy has some nice alloys that are 16 x 7 40 offset. will these work? with my tires?

btw, what does the 7 or 6.5 mean? offset?

rookie just trying to learn, so be patient with me!

Yes, those alloy wheels will fit. Compard to your original rims, it would be 1mm less clearance on the back of the rims and 11mm lesss clearance at the front (face) of the rims.

The 7 and 6.5 are the width of the wheels.

And yes, you should be able to re-use your existing stock tires on those wheels.

Why hasn't anyone here mentioned bolt pattern!?

Make sure the new wheels are 5x114.3 PCD.

If you are going to get wider wheels I would get some wider tires to compliment the wheels. Stocks are just to narrow for me.
