'06 V6 Camry Fuel Economy Tracking

For those interested, I've tracked the fuel mileage on our Camry since we bought it.
It's an XLE V6. I drive it about 40% and my wife 60%. I'm aggressive and my wife is tame.

I have a table, but can't get it to show right.
Our best tank is 30.1 MPG and our worst is 21 MPG.
Overall MPG: 25.86 over 5500 miles

The onboard computer seems relatively accurate for a full tank average when we fill up.
When running on the highway alone, it gets as high as 33.5 MPG

Yeah, I figure they're not too bad. Better than I honestly expected out of a 268hp engine...

These are actual calculated numbers too, not going off of the onboard computer.

I've got about 1800 miles on mine (SE V6)...and I drive about 40% street and 60% highway...but the highway is mostly traffic (stop and go...stop and go...stop and go). LA TRAFFIC!!!

I too have been tracking my milage since i got it...thus far...i've averaged 22.69 MPG (since I got her)...the best tank averaged 24.79 MPG...i think its most of the highway stop and go traffic...

I wish i was getting you guys' numbers...!!!!

i was getting very low average of about 22-23 ...but after the first oil/filter change at 4500 it has gotten better and runs 400 miles easily on a tank without pushing it ....
Runs great ...
