Fog Lights with Squirrel Finders?

I was trying to aim my fog lights today and I noticed something well...............kinda odd. My fog lights bleed up around to about where my low beams are. The bleed is like a very light and oddly shaped squirrel finder. It looks exactly the same on both of my fog lights. The bleed is strong enough to light up road signs a little sorta like DRLs. The most intense part of the the beams are low just as they should be.

It seems like a safety measure. I was wondering if this was normal and if the OEM fogs are about the same. I got these fog lights off of ebay. They were supposed to be OEM style.

my OEM fogs do not bleed light. sorry... but you get what you pay for! i too had bought the ebay OEM style fogs... but the quality on them were really horrible. Had a few issues with fitment and i felt the materials were just not quality. Ended up buying the OEM fogs for about 3x as much, but i think its well worth it.

It isn't that bad. It's very faint. It actually should come in handy in foul weather (the little bit of extra yellow light at headlight level). I just wondered if it was the same for the OEM fogs.

I could fix it just by aiming the fogs more downward if I felt it was something really serious.
