To those who got the double din dash kit, does it color match 100% with the rest of the center console? if yes please state which brand. i got the metra one and it is noticeable that there is a slight difference in color.
Hey hybrid is that the original navigation? Cus I thought the original had buttons on the dash. and if it isnt the factory navigation how did u get it to say camry?
No, it's not factory, it's an Eclipse AVN-5500; I just made my own wallpaper and uploaded it via CD to the Eclipse Unit. Eclipse allows you to remove their logo and replace it with your own for the boot-up screen.
And you're right, the factory navigation has buttons along both sides:
I only saw the Scosche install kit on Crutchfield's website, no Metra. From what I can from a little research, the Metra kit is a better buy. The one I saw on Ebay came with the wiring harness.

Basically: remove the center air-vents, remove the two cosmetic trim clips, remove (untwist) the shifter knob, remove the center shifter console, remove the aux-input/storage compartment, then four bolts and the stock cd-unit/ac controls come right out.
