Gen6 toyota paying for clearbra

i have a 07 black camry se with less than 1,000 miles and already have chipping strating on front end. has anyone had luck getting toyota to pay for all or part of the clear bra, and has everyone called toyota complaint line.

bmillikin1, not sure if you know this or not but even with warrenty covered items, the dealer is not likely to pay for anything unless they legally have to, you'll look like a jacka** if you go to the dealer bitching about rock chips on your car, they are only obligated to keep it mint as long as they have the car, once you pull off the lot, it's your own problem if your car gets chipped, try not tailgating people! Personally I try to keep my distance from all other vehicles. What's next, you want the dealer to split the cost for new tires?? Please.

Hazards of driving a car. However if the problem is or can be related to poor paint, etc then you might have a case.

I suggest that you invest in something that will protect your front end or take other precautionary measures.
