Gen6 For Sale: 2007 Camry - Silver - $11,900 - 2,500 miles- Pix

I was on my favorite site for parts, & look what I came across:

Oops ... I forgot to mention it's only for half a car, you have to rebuild the rest!!

How horrible is that...someone totalled their brand new 2007 car before 2007 with only 2500 miles on it! That really sucks!

I came across this when I was searching for a replacement shift knob for my 98 ES300 ... if anyone has a leather wrapped shift knob (gray leather) w/ overdrive button - PM me!

What is the parts website that you found this car on? I need to look for parts for my 94 Camry, and my grandparents needs some parts for their 98 Camry.

There are actually two websites to be exact. They are located in Pennsylvania, just over the NJ/PA border. Trevose Auto Sales & Al's Auto.

http://www.alsautopa.com
http://www.trevoseauto.com

they are sister companies right down the bloack from each other. If one doesn't have the part...try the other. They usually have lots of toyota/lexus parts, but for me, i came up empty handed...

sometimes they have parts that aren't listed, so it's a good idea to give them a call.

FYI - it's more of a junkyard than a parts store i should mention.

Few thousand for body work and you're set. Of course your wheel may pull to one direction for the rest of the cars life.

It's a shame, but one man's loss is another one's gain!

i'm sure there will always be something wrong with it, or else they wouldn't have declared it a total loss! Total loss is > 75% of the car's value. Although it's a bottom of the barrle CE, it's still worth about $20k, so to say it has atleast $15k damage is stratching it - I think you can have it fixed for about $7k

It would depend on the owner's insurance policy. My policy includes replacement of a new car if involved stolen or involved in a collision of more than $5000.

My mom got rearended by some idiot in an SUV less than a month after she bought her 07 Camry, too. The person's insurance company was nice enough to realize it was a brand new car and compensate her for that, though.
