07 Camry Chrome Exhaust Tip

I've just got a '07 Camry LE and want to install the chrome exhaust tip that the SE, XLE or the V6's have. The dealership told me that the chrome exhaust tip is clamp on. So the exhaust tip is roughly $80 and the labor fee is $40. Should I install the exhaust tip by myself? Is it doable? Or should I pay the $40?

Any advice would be great!

Save yourself a $100, and buy it online and install it yourself in about 5 minutes... buy it here or somewhere similar...

Do you know how to clamp on the exhaust tip? Do I need any tools or get under the car?

bolt it on yourself, very easy install and yes, you will probably need to get under the car...unless you're really really short

Most likely the tip will have a screw on the bottom that you will simply tighten...something like this:



Go to the parts department and ask them to show you one...

$40 sounds more right for welding it on, rather than just clamping it on.

I have an 07 Le and I ordered a chrome tip exhaust tip on ebay and spent $27 for the tip, shipping and insurance. The tip installed easy and only took about 5 minutes.

Autozone has a similar looking clamp-on chrome tip for $12. Looks great on a black LE.
