Gen5 Not to sound like a newb, does the gen 5 camry have a differential + as a tranny

I'm not trying to sound like a newb but does the gen 5 Camry have a differential as well as a tranny ? I'm pretty sure it doesn't being that it is a front weal drive vehicle. Thanks for the help.

Differentials are needed on all types of cars or else your tires would scrape the road on turns. AWD, FWD, Rear wheel drive, they all use front and rear differentials. And also, it surely has a transmission cause a transmission is what goes between the engine and the axles. The transmission is what hold the gears that are needed for shifting, it lets your car go into drive, neutral, reverse, 1st gear, 2nd gear, etc.

Yeah, the differential case is bolted directly to the end of the tranny. No driveshaft in between like in rwd cars.
