Cool

Why don't you grab the gear ratios, the final drive, the tire size, the rpm & mph cutoffs for the engine. Then figure it out?
There are plenty of calculators to do it on the internet if you don't feel like doing the math by hand.

I was wondering if someone could just hop in their camry and test it. You dont have to go to 6th or 5th. Or is their somewhere I can find the info?

Gen6 ??

1) The guy wanted someone to fill in the blanks if possible, (which Im sure many people on this forum could do) instead of having someone tell him to grab the gear ratio, tire size, etc and then do the math.

2) Governor? Tell me the car does not "max out" at 123 - 125 because it has a governor on it. Is that even possible?!

I'm sure there is some magazine that tested it. I looked on Car and drivers website, edmunds, road and track, and some other ones, but I couldn't find it.

Care to share why you need the info?

I <3 the manual (Page 163 - 169)
This is from page 167:

range km/h (mph)
1 60 (37)
2 104 (65)
3 139 (86)
4 198 (123)

I'm guessing toyota didn't include gears 5-6 because speed is e-limited to 123MPH...

Page 169:
Recommended shifting speeds
gear km/h (mph)
1 to 2 or 2 to 1 24 (15)
2 to 3 or 3 to 2 40 (25)
3 to 4 or 4 to 3 64 (40)
4 to 5 or 5 to 4 72 (45)

As stated before gears 1-4 will be in the manual, but as for topping out the 4 cyl camry se will top at 135 mph(elec limited) and the V6 will top out between 142-145 mph(governed). I can only go by the se model because that is what I have. I love my V6 camry. There are some places on the web where I have seen the top speed posted at 162 mph???? With you having the xle version you might be limited between the 120-130 range. Hope this helps. PS-I have had my camry up to 110 mph and it was still pulling strong.
