USA XLE with VSC

I just want to know if anybody bought Camry 2007 XLE (4 or 6 cyl) with VSC. I confused with the facty that my car does not have a VSC indicator light on for the first 2 seconds after I start the engine. The manual book said you you should have it also the customer service from Toyota. I already checked several dealers in my area and they have the same car as mine. The only indicator I have is the slip indicator (The car slip thing). Please help me for anybody in USA with the same problem.

It doesnt matter if its an XLE or SE or Hybrid. VSC is offered on all model grades. My VSC lights comes on everytime I start my car and goes off in a few secs. Are you sure your car came equipped with this feature?

Did you pay for it as an option?

What does your window sticker say?

The reason I said XLE because the dashboard panel is different with LE and SE. In XLE we have multidisplay panel and the dealer said it does not have a VSC symbol on it, only the "skid car" thing symbol for XLE equipped with VSC. Therefore, I only want to ask to somebody who bought XLE with VSC. Do you see the VSC symbol in multi display panel after you start your car? I know for sure LE and SE equpped with VSC have that symbol.

No VSC light when turning on an XLE.

The multidisplay does have a "Check VSC System" warning light if there is a failure.

The "Slip Indicator" shows up on all models with VSC/TC and lights up onstart or on activation while driving according to the owners manual.

Thanks njerald. I will confront it with Toyota because they insisted that XLE with VSC should have VSC indicator light on for a couple second when you start the car.
