5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I often come here and just read the posts left here by many of you and I finally decided to post a general questions for all of you. If you were to buy a Camry SE, what are the features you would recommend. Just a note: I am trying to stay under 25,000.
My 07 SE V6 has the JBL upgrade, Dark Charcoal interior (Fabric not leather), super white exterior, and moonroof. The final price was around lower 27K but with the I4 I think it would have been around 25K. GDluck on your buy.

FitzMall prices are not a good thing to go by because they are not typical realistic prices. There aren't that many "no haggle" dealers out there as compared to traditional dealers. With that being said I got my car from a no-haggle dealership and my car is an I4 and is basically loaded. The only thing I dont have is leather and navigation. I got my car for just over $23K but keep in mind that was when the car first came out practically. Its lower now.

They are not realistic prices unless you shop with some intelligence.
You don't have to pay above invoice price now unless you are too lazy, have money to burn or just want to shop at your local dealer. I've gone 300 miles to save $600 on a new vehicle and 1,000 miles to save $2,500 on a used car.
Fitzmall just makes it easy to get a great price and a vehicle that might not be available in your local area.
I bought mine cheaper locally than Fitzmall ten months ago and I could do it again tomorrow.
You're asking us to recommend things to you. It is really a personal thing--your age, height, weight, etc. Maybe you like sunroofs, but for me, I'm too tall in the saddle for it. The auto dimming rearview mirror is nice, but how often do you need to know what direction you are going? Take a look at a lot of cars, and sit in them, with and without a sunroof, with or without leather. Figure out what you want and then price it at kbb.com to get a price. Add the local advertising fees to give you an idea of the dealer invoice. Shoot at the price.

well i got my Camry I4 under 25k fully loaded well just not leather and GPS but i got alot of other accesories free......but ya i got the car for around 21-22k. the mark up was 26-27k. get what you think you would want to go buy somethin you think you wont even use either...
I got mine when the car was still hot. It's slowing down... so you probably could get it fully loaded for an I4... including the leather and nav. Good luck!!! Just remember to haggle as much as you can.
im getting mine for 23,100 OTD with the $400 college rebate, but coudlnt haggle at all or they wouldnt order the 5spd SE i wanted. Should be coming in sometime in January. Mine is base with a spoiler thats all
