Try to rephrase the question or provide more information. You are saying that the fan is turned off but suddenly the blower started blowing? If you are driving at any speed and the flow-through vent is open, you are going to get air through the ducts. If it is set to recirc then you won't.

My recirculate function shuts itself off after a little while if the fan is on at all, if I'm on the highway the air will be stronger than with recirculate turned on and the fan on low. I think recirculate shuts itself off to let fresh air in. Pisses me off though.

I have manual controls BTW.

Forgive njerald, he can't help being a dick for some reason. He has about 5 usefull posts and the other 700+ are from scouring the boards telling people to search.

The ac is designed to keep the windows from fogging, so as the vehicle detects changes, it turns off the recirculate control. Press and hold the recirculate button for 2+ seconds and it will stay on.

I had the same "problem" so I read the manual. All of this is included.

I had a similar problem with my automatic climate control. See my thread of 1/20 entitled " 07 Automatic Climate Control". No one has replied, so I guess it's just me!
