Gen6 Amp Install Problem

I've got my car all apart to run the wires for my amp. I got instructions from the local sterio shop on where the remote wire goes to the ignition power wire, but when I took it apart it didn't look the same as in the pic. Thats because the pic was from a '97 not an '07 . Now I need to run the remote wire to my amp and don't know which wire to tap into.
I've kept the factory deck. Please help.
Thanks,
Amo

The remote wire is simply a 'swtich' so the ignition triggers the amp to power up and it doesn't stay on all the time. Any switched source in the fuse box will work. How about the radio fuse? Tap into the circuit downlink from the source (the side of the fuse that has the wire going out to the radio).

BTW: On the wiring harness for your head unit, the ignition wire is usually yellow.

Thanks, problem solved. I used a piggyback fuse link.
