Heated Seats in 2007 Camry SE

first time to post. Here is the sitiuation. Customer states that heated seats in 2007 Camry Se with leather seats is heating up and shutting off. The lights are staying on indicating that the heated seats are operating but they seem to think the heating element is cutting off. Is it possible that the heated seats reach a certain tempature then cut off to stay below a certain temp? I work for Toyota and don't really know where I can research this, any ideas??? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Yes, it turns the element on/off to regulate temp or it will burn your ass.

This is funny because if they didn't shut the elements off they'd be bitching that they constantly have to shut the seats off themselves because they get too hot.

Climate control for the ass...

I have an XLE.....

Yep, light stays on, element cycles on or off. There's something in the technical manual that talks about setting a particular temperature, presumably for the high temperature before cycling off....
