This is another variable as well. How can I assure I have the right .kiwi file??
#1. Get the LOADING.KWI file from a disk for the same model vehicle, if possible.
#2. Make sure the size of the replacement file is the same as the size of the replaced file (at least in my case, the file sizes were the same even though the override functionality was different).

After making about 15 coasters, including some that were the same brand/process that worked for others, I have given up and succomb to using the v6.1 without override. It is very frustrating. Now I can't find my original 5.1 disc, so I can't even revert to the manual method.
I need a friggin LockPick. I think I will buy two when I get one for my new Sequoia.

I don't see LockPick having an all out option for the Camry Hybrid or I would have just ordered it by now as annoying as this has been and I haven't even begun the speed cable mod to get access to the other functions while movie. Eesh.

I was begginning to think that all this talk about a hybid disc was all an elaborate hoax. I have a set of about ten coasters I've made in the last month (anybody want to come over for a cocktail party?). Finally, I followed the step-by-step instructions posted by durham2atl, and it worked! My thanks to all of you guys who have contibuted to this thread.
Yes, my loading.kwi file is kosher for 2007 Camry & TCH!

Well I still couldn't get it to work. I think I PM'd you about the file too but didn't hear back.
I thought I replied to all my PMs ... if I didn't sorry ... but I had to purge, as I reached Max capacity!

Does this method work on Scions? I am assuming it is the same NAV system. I was able to get into the diagnostic mode by doing the proceedure mentioned for 6.1 (hold down info, and click on and off your parking lights 3 times), so it has to be the same stuff. Has anyone heard of someone successfully making a hybrid disk for a Scion?
Anyways, I have been trying to get the hybrid disk working. My first couple attempts were to skip the 1 to 1 copy test and just go for it using ImgBurn. After making a couple coasters, I decided to try out a 1 to 1 copy of my 6.1 DVD. Same results, the system doesn't recognize it. The media I am using is Memorex DVD+R DL 2.4x. I noticed someone here got it working with those, so I don't know why the exact copy wouldn't load. I made the copy by doing a simple ImgBurn read, followed by an ImgBurn write. Pretty straight forward. Should I try a different type of media?
One last thing: The LOADING.KWI on my DVD is only 25.3MB compared to the 45.8MB file supplied. So once I get the 1 to 1 copy working, I still may need to find a compatible LOADING.KWI. My thought are that since the Scion doesnt have bluetooth/backup cam/voice commands, it has a stripped down loader. What do you guys think?

What Nav Data Version do you have .... the 07 Camry uses the U30/U31 if I'm not mistaken ... look on your original NAV Data Disc and tell me what U## version you have?

U60 with a "D" underneath it.
And just for good measure, here are the rest of the stats on the DVD...
