Custom Grille 02-04

Does anyone make one? I haven't seen one except for a blingbling type. Is there any interest in a custom fibre glass grille with mesh.
I have a question about the grilles on the Camry. When you pull the grille off does it leave a notch on the hood where the logo is at. I cannot tell I know the emblem sticks up past the hoods edge or right on it.

I already tried this. I made a thread about interest in making a group buy for replicas of my grill. I bought my grill for $270 shipped plus paint. I was offering the grill for $230. Only like 4 people were interested, so I said screw it.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Yes, but my grill is not custom. My grill is an actual Toyota part from Australia, and my particular grill is the last one ever built. I paid around $370 total after paint, and it was worth every penny. I wasn't offering to make a custom grill and sell it... I was offering to make replicas.

That's what I'm thinking of making..no one can order that grille from TRD anymore. Do most people like that style..

Well, it wasn't from TRD. I just put a TRD emblem on there. But when I first got it, it was just the fiberglass frame with a mesh insert. But it has a Toyota part number on the back. I imported it from Toyota of Australia. They only made a limited number of these, and came as an option on the Australian Camry Sportivo (their version of the SE).

I've gotten very many compliments on the grill, and quite a few people on TN have offered me money for it, and I've declined every time (and still would). Sadly, when I tried a group buy, only 4 were interested, and making a replica for 4 people wasn't worth my time.

$108.00! Shit, I paid $50.00 shipped for mine and I sanded it, painted it, took off the RS emblem then put my TRD emblem on it.

I'm thinking of getting these ebay grilles on my Gen5.0 camry
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...7493&rd=1&rd=1
item# 170090027493

but how do they look close up? - the OEM ones (AUS ones) are slightly curved following a slimeline fashion. But as I can see from the picture on ebay, is this grille set flat?

can someone post a close-up look please?

Thank you!
