it only squeaks when i rest my arm on it. anyone else have this problem? i don't want to visit the dealer for something anal as this

yep. i fixed mine by putting a felt tab on the little black rubber nubs on the inside lid of the armrest.

Yea, just little felt nubs that have a sticker backing. You can get a pack at a hardware store for less than 4 bucks.

Mine is doing this too. I plan to have the dealer take a look at it and fix it when I take my car in for its first oil change. I have always had the dealership treat me VERY well and fix all of my problems with past vehicles. No reason to expect different with my 2007 Camry SE V6.
