Gen5 Help needed rear seat removal and speaker install.

Howdy folks, i am in the process of installing a pair of pioneer 6x9's in my 2002 camry's rear deck. I have read the manual and checked out a few posts (mainly 1-2) that kinda explains how to reach the rear deck for installing the speakers. I am having a hard time getting the first step, getting the rear seat cushions off. It says i need to pull upwards, disengage the clips at the two locations. Well i am applied well enough force but cannot get the cushion to come off. I dont want to hurt my myself or deform the frame or anything, plus now it seems like the rear seat cushion has gotten somewhat loose, before they were sturdy and firm to the frame. Are there any special tools that i need to use. What else do i need to do inorder to get to the rear speakers besides the easy seeming diagrams in the manual. Do i have to worry about Hog rings as mentioned in the manual. Any tips and help would be greatly appreciated.

Also i am planning to install some 6x9's in the front as well, but i have read that most ppl have issue with mounting depth cuz there is not enough clearance with window down (about 2'') so i am looking for some decent speakers which you guys think would fit. I was planning on installing component but custom making the adapters and spacers is a hasstle and i dont have the right tools either. So i am thinking about going with 6x9's with mounting depth of 2'' or so. Also i cant get the door handle bezel off. I tried using flat head screw sriver with some tape on top and all but cant get that door handle bezel off. Need some help with that as well. Thanks and sorry for jumping from question to question.

rears are really easy....the cushion there is the 2 clip like things on both sides...the clips are located under the Left and Right seats in about the middle of both so what i did was sit on lets say the left custion...id put my hands under the cushion and slide them in , one hand on each side of hte clip with palms facing up...what i did was i had my hands there and sorta stood up wiht my knees bent and i just pulled it up (towards the roof). The first time I did it iwas like you and afraid to use force because i thought i might damage it or myself but once you do it once the second time will be no problem

What about the hooks, it seems like they have to be broken in order to reach the rear deck, or is there a safe damage free alternative.
