what size tires do i need

235/45/18 which will be 0.2% faster (speedometer shows 60MPH actual speed will be 60.1mph)

I think this setup is as close as you can get to the stock diameter, but your tires will be .8inchs wider then the stock tires.

Toyota says for that rim size 225/45. Because 18x7.5 rim

Are you getting that info from the 18" TRD wheel options?

That's weird cus those have a bigger difference compared to the stock diameter then does 235/45/18.

When your speedometer is saying 60mph:
225/45 is actually going 59.2mph
235/45 is actually going 60.1mph

Maybe 235 = clearance issues??

Or maybe I'm just using shitty calculator's cus i've tried 3 different one's and they all say 225 has a bigger difference...

OOR it could be thats the look toyota is going for with the 18" becuase 225 will give you a less rounded sidewall compared to 235.

Thats what what the tech guys from Toyota who spec out the suspensions and wheel set up who looked at my car and why the TRD wheels come with 225/45/18. Its different for 18x8 and up.
