TRD exhaust?

TRD muffler? is this thing actually worth it? i mean its almost worth trusting cuz its TRD, but I don't know whether it will really perform the way they claim. not to mention it says it affects the sound. i dont want it to sound like a fart can if i do get it.

http://www.trdparts4u.com/PD-PTR06-0....aspx?MakeID=1

keep in mind the picture shows only the tip. but the whole muffler is new too.

And, as I'm sure the question will arise, will this work on an 07 even though it says designed for vehicles up to an 06?

is it worth getting? hmmmmmmmmm it depends

Up to 10%? so if you had 192 to begin with...19.2 HP? from a muffler? thats really hard to believe. You're not gonna get any huge gains from a muffler. Your exhaust will sound better and not fartcan though. THere are soundclips around from one who had a 4 cyl and 6 cyl. I had it on a 6 cyl and it wasn't loud at all, barely noticeable until i redid my exhaust...

otherwise on a 4 cyl it sounded really nice

alright. i might get it. if i decide to get it and notice a power difference i'll let yall know. but i do need a new muffler anyway. I bottomed out when i hit that pothole and it sheared off a bunch of the muffler so i almost got a hole.

There is no power difference. You will never get ANY power out of just a muffler alone. But the sound is nice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZT04d4cB17U Here's my video/sound clip of my TRD exhaust.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I wouldn't mind getting the TRD mufflers if it made the Camry sound like a G35 or FX35.

You don't get any power gains from this muffler. Thats just a bunch of bogus. But i have it and i couldn't be happier with the sound it makes. Sounds nothing like a fart can on a civic. It has a very distinct non-ricey sound. Very classy.
