Gen6 Cabin Air Filter Part#

Does anyone know the part# or a website where I can buy a new cabin air filter? I can't find one using google and there is no part# on the filter itself.

Thanks

I searched the TN threads to no avail. I checked the web and all I could find was this howto where someone made a cabin filter themselves for their scion:

Toyota Pt # - 87139-07010 $35 list, $24.20 by mail

There are a few auto parts places on the internet where they are $18-20.

When it comes time to change mine, I will use part of a home furnace filter and make my own for about $1.00 + 10 minutes time.

Hi guys,

I have a 2005 Camry Le. Dealer suggested that it should be changed every 16,000km. Just wondering how often u guys are changing ur cabin air filter, or just open it up and take a look at it?

I tried the furnace filter idea on my Toyota Matrix until I realized how stupid I was being to save a few dollars at the peril of damaging a brand new $20k vehicle. Now I just shop around and get proper made in cabin filters at places like Pep Boys or Napa for around $10-$15. Totally worth it!!!
