Hello,
I know that this question has been asked before, but with a new twist!
My Kentucky manufactured LE, G6, IL4, Vin 4T1BE46KX7U632769, has experienced several “Butt Bumps” or
HARSH DOWNSHIFT ON DECELERATION. The
HARSH 5-4 DOWNSHIFT ON DECELERATION, as listed in TSB TC010-06, dated August 11, 2006 is a good description. My VIN is after all of the VINS listed in the TSB’s, I have found. The outside temperature when we started our one way trip of 70 miles was 39 degrees. The car was at normal operating temperature before moving. Several waiting stops were done in route with almost all “Butt Bump” stops were preceded with a speed greater than 45 mph. After the first restart, till we returned home, there were no more problems (outside temperature was now 65 degrees). I made a duplicate repeat test trip on the next day (different route), outside temperature was 59 degrees, with out any issues. ANY Suggestions? THANKS!!!
