Gen6 Harsh 5-4 Downshift on 07 Camry (2AZ-FE)

Has anyone experienced this downshift problem as per Toyota TSB TC010-06
on VINs before 4T1BE46K*7U058269 and *7U569643 ('07 Camry 4cylinder-automatic).
Has anyone had the solenoid fix done and with any improvement? My VIN happens
to be well before the pre-production change.

Thanks!!!

I did. I had the TSB done around Christmas 06. I had been 3 months with around 6,000 miles with no problem. It has been fixed. According to the mechanic, he has to order a special valve ring for my transmission per the TSB. It works. No more harsh downshift.
I had this TSB done and the hesitation TSB done at the same time. The hesitation was a re-flash to the ECU computer board. I guess there is a certain version of software for your ECU that is why the new car/later production date already have the new version of software in their ECU.
