I used the 3m tape from a body shop. That shit is a lot stronger then the regular tape. Try it.

You got that right, brother. Was a complete pain in the ass to install the switch in my Gen 6. You have to remove the steering pad, steering wheel, steering column covers, clockspring (without damaging it, like I did, requiring me to buy a new one for around $200), and you have to remove the stock turn signal stalk and wiper stalk from the steering shaft... then put it all back together with the new one. Be prepared to need an alignment done afterwards as well.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Alignment? Why did that need to be done?

If you want to get the stalk, I'll be more than happy to install it for you. Probably take 1.5-2 hours. Ive done alot of steering column work when i was working at the body shop.

I'm not completely sure. I think when I was turning the steering shaft bolt on the steering wheel, it might've torqued on the shaft and dis-aligned it or something. I for sure put my steering wheel back on straight, but the alignment was definitely off, and when I took it into the shop, the numbers were way off spec, especially for the Toe.
