DAMNIT! There could be impending doom on the horizon for our hero! I went up to the place where I ordered my z2 from (had a change of heart and had them add the bluetooth capability and steering control functionality to the bill) and NOW they're sayin the date has been pushed from the 26th to April 11th!!!! Dubya tee efff!!!!

My sales dude is going to call me and let me know for sure though. He was saying that it could be their large order will be coming later, but a single order can still be sent from Pioneer as long as PIONEERS release date isnt pushed back.

Keeping my fingers crossed.......... so stay tuned friends! Stay tuned!

So what did you guys pay for your new Pioneer AVIC Z2? How much is the bluetooth and steering controls? What do you have to do to get be able to play dvd movie while driving? I was thinking about doing the factory navigation, but also looking at other possibilities. Thanks

I payed 1800 for the z2, 105 for the blue tooth module, and 45 for the steering control module. To play dvd while driving theres a disabling trick you do when first turn the vehicle on and the z1 - z2 is booting up. You turn the lights on for second, then turn them off. This is supposed to bypass the motion block on the dvd player so you can watch while driving (which is illegal).

If your unit is manufactured after july of '06 the headlight flasher does not work. You will need to ground another wire. all the info is on avic411.com .... you will get more info and answers there than here
