I first saw these ones at least 7 months ago going for over $200. I think they are made by JDM? I'm pretty sure they have adhesive tape and as you can see, they have a chrome strip to match the trim of the door. The other option is in-channel, which won't cover up the chrome trim. I can't see how they would fit well in the channels, must be tight I would think. Do they damage the top of the window at all?

it ain't cheap, but these are made by Toyota with the toyota logo! I believe it is removable (inchannel) but clips under the pillars.

If they instal like the Weathertech's the fronts just go in the channel and tension stay and the rears go in channel but have some double sided tape to hold them in better as they are more straight for less tension stay power..

Weathertech install video on this page

They are very useful. I do not have them on my Camry...yet. But I do on my Park Ave. It is nice to have a smoke without the water running in.

I agree they don't look all that great....a case of Function over Form....

I don't smoke but I like the windows opened an inch or two at times while driving in the rain.
Today windows are angled such that you can't open the window an inch without rain coming in.
Also like to keep the a window or two cracked in summer.
Minimizes interior heat when parked which helps in keeping the leather from drying out and interior cooler for me and easier and quicker for the A/C to do it's job..

I don't think they looks ugly.
The stick ons do as they're bigger looking and aren't in the channel..
Now the the sunfoof defector..that looks ugly to me..

We don't smoke anymore not counting an occassional bong. We use the ventvisors for air circulation. The moonroof visor cuts the wind down to a tolerable level so we can enjoy the wind in our hair. Both are a definite plus.
