I have had loaners while my XLE V6 was in for repair, and they may have the same body parts, but they are not the "same car." The most obvious example of this is my leather seats versus the cloth seats. There's nothing wrong with cloth but it ain't leather. Same with the V6 versus I4.

Using your logic, no car is worth more than $20K then, since they all have an engine and 4 wheels and are all "the same." It's about features and comforts. Is a Lexus ES350 worth more than my Camry XLE V6? The body and even the engine is essentially "the same" but it ain't the "same car."

AFAIK, the CE is new with the Gen6's. I believe they had it in the past, but for the other gen's there has only been the LE, SE, and XLE.

Body side molding helps protect against door dings and things like that, runs down the sides of the car

There were CE for gen 4, but there was no SE.

CE, LE, and XLE have been the grades used since Gen4.

Before that I think there was Camry DX, LE, SE, and XLE for Gen 3.

For Gen 2, I think there is Camry, Camry DX, and Camry LE.

There is no CE in Canada. They are, however, available in USA.
