Gen5 Where can I get switches for these slots on my Gen5?

I've seen switches as part of the fog light kits on Ebay, but I want to put switches here for other applications.

Does anyone know a good source for a switch that could simply replace these slots?
While I'm on this topic, what does the factory/oem usually use these slots for?

Pretty much anything that's a clean replacement. I just want to pop the panel out and pop a switch in.

You can use any two way switch (ON/OFF) from your local Autozone, Pepboys, etc. Just cut enough of the panel to integrate the switch to it and you will have a perfect fitting switch that uses the stock panel.

Yup, just find a regular switch from the sources Epsilon mentioned, Radio Shack, or Frys. Cut some of the material out and put the switch in. The switch will come with a bezel that will be slightly larger than the cut out to make it look cleaner.

Making a cutout in those little panels is pretty much what I had in mind at the moment;
I wanted to know if there were switches that would take up the whole rectangle slot like the switches
included in these ebay kits:

But I wouldn't want the "fog" label on it. Unless I've been mistaken and
these ebay switches don't plug in exactly to those slots.

Do you guys know what the factory uses these slots for? If they were for
switches, maybe I could just go to the dealer and get them...but they might
be labeled for their intended function.
I'm just being nitpicky now and wanted to see my options before cutting these
things to fit in a switch. Nonetheless, thanks for the tips, guys!

Those are some pretty clever things you got going on your car That's nice to see some of those switches from other cars fitting nicely; that's what I was looking for. I'm going to have to look for something similar

^from kragen. not the best, but they filled the rectangle.

edit: you can change the lens color (green, amber, red, and blue are included) and the label thingy (fog [shown], defroster, headlight, and other random lables included).

there is a millimeter gap as you can see from the pic, but it's not noticable from most angles.
