Also replying to another member,lammydi... It seems you are very desperate to prove me wrong considering that you're here asking people if it my hybrid has the same type of bulb and adapter.Suppose it has the same layout like all the other trims of the camry, then have I not proved my explanation why for some people it may take a minute and for some longer up to 15 minutes or longer.Maybe if I went to center that specializes in car lighting then they may be able to do it in a minute like you suggest. But for most people that are not specialists in that area like myself its not as easy as a minutes job depending on the technique that you chose. The fact of the matter is if you don't know what you're doing and don't know too much about cars then I think going to a shop and spending a little money in all likleyhood may be the best option if you decide to buy those mtec bulbs.
I am not desperate to prove you wrong.....it just 1 of those things that it would bug me all day long if I can't find the answer. I am no expert in car at all. I am just like most of the members here....when I don't know I will ask around.

+1 to lammy di!

manny, im not claiming to be an expert on changing bulbs. maybe you should try looking in your engine bay, and see if you can reach the harness and the bulb itself. maybe due to circumstance where your hand doesnt fit the area...then... maybe its time to take a few things apart.

i thinlk it was smart of manny to get it done by a pro.

becasue if he would of tried for an hour like i did on my brother old focus then he had a frustrating time then if you think you did the right think then more power to you.

and like every one else says that are not jerks "to each His own"

Click on http://www.danielsternlighting.com/p.../products.html

and then scroll quite a ways down to the picture and description of the H11 bulb where Daniel Stern reports that an H9 bulb (65 watt) will fit where a H11 bulb fits. He reports that some lamps have the optics to handle the much greater light output of the H9 bulb as compared to the H11.

You could consult with Daniel Stern. I have no personal experience with him but he seems quite knowlegeable. Read his scathing criticism of HID conversion kits. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...nversions.html

I would first make sure that the lamp is correctly aimed before changing bulbs though.

Very similar concept to the 9006-->9005 conversion.

What most people experience after doing that is the shorter lifespan for the bulbs. Some cars are equipped to handle the increased wattage and those are usually the higher end cars (the lower end tends to cheap out). It also depends on how long your bulbs are on etc. A risk I'm not willing to take since the stock lighting output is adequate.
