If you don't me asking...what is the point of a remote engine starter?
Today's modern cars will start the engine even at -30 Celsius outside (I've tried this winter with a Toyota Echo).
Please don't tell me people still run their cars for 10 minutes in the morning to warm up...I've been told by both a BMW and Toyota dealership that the best way to warm up a car is to start driving it easy until the temp-gauge reaches the middle. Then you can fire away.

Well thank you
I wanted an alarm and my buddy is an installer at Circuit City, so I figured why not get the remote start hooked up. I just got it because it is kinda neat and when it is 110 here in Stockton in the summer I can turn my car on on my way out and have the A/C on when I get there .... probably won't make a difference, but just a cool toy
I have remote start also even though I live in LA, but it's still a nice gadget to have instead of waiting inside the car for the engine/oil to warm up.
If you don't mind me asking...how much just for regular alarm and for alarm + remote start?
