Gen6 2007 Camry Spoiler removal

Hi all,

New to forum and happy owner of second hand LE V6 Camry. However, the car came with a spoiler that I feel is not attractive.

Does anyone here know how to remove these spoilers? And if removed, will there be holes underneath? Or are they held in place with sticky mats?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

if its a factory one then there will be a least four holes in trunk lid under spoiler, just remove the liner from inside the trunk lid and you should be able to get to the bolts. good luck

bmullikin1 is correct.
You'll have holes to fill and a trunk lid to paint.

Do you like the spoiler a little more now?

Much cheaper way to handle this. Assuming that your trunk lid is still in like-new condition, then find someone that has your color that wants a "free" spoiler, shouldn't be hard to find especially on this board. Then remove your entire trunk lid and swap him the entire piece for his non-spoiler trunk lid. Just bolt the new trunk lid back onto the car and you're done!

i don't like the look of it either but i'd rather live it then going through the troubles. or you could get the rksport spoiler, which looks a little better.

Wow! Free OEM spoiler. I bought my spoiler from Ebay came painted for $140 but the paint is still not 100% OEM. This is a great for those whom has a black car and wanted a OEM spoiler!!!! 2007LEV6...You da man!

Spoiler

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of your advice. Yes, I just purchased this second hand 2007 LE V6 Camry with a factory trunk lid. And, yes I did not have a choice about the trunk lid. It is the same lip spoiler that you would see on the SE versions of the 2007 Camry's.

So the deal is set and we'll let you know how it turns out.

Thanks!
