The seat on my 2005 SE has a tendency to roll me out of the seat and I have to use back muscles to fight to stay in and after a little mountain driving I'm ready to trade it in.
Has anyone done any mods (seats from a BMW, Recaro, or anyother brand that has some support? The seat comfort and the lousy brakes are the only downfalls.
ITs funny how everyone was knocking me for wanting aftermarket seats awhile ago..and nothign for this guy, lol. Anyways...from what you are saying..you're gonna want reclinables. Now is the 1500 for a pair? Cuz honestly....i would go recaro...but thats just me. I would recomend having a good sit down session with seats if you have the opportunity to. Depends how big of a person you are as well. If you are a big..i wouldn't recomend brides...as they are pretty narrow. Recaro sports are nice, sparco torino or rmilano, status spa, or momo's. You can get useds momos for pretty cheap off other forums. The biggest problem that you are going to face...is gettin custom brackets. That is the only reason why i didn't get aftermarket seats. I would make sure you know someone that can fab those for you before you look any further into seats.
^Not in all cases. Recaros seats in the topline version usually come in electric relcine. BUt in his case...where his budget is 1500 for both seats...you are stuck with a manual seat.
